Owner Mitch started the business in May 1998 as a mobile diesel fitter, doing work in the greater Emerald regional area. Due to an increase growth and workload, the business relocated to its current site in 2014 with its current staff of 12.
When we moved to the current site, we started servicing and repairs on road trucks and light vehicles. In 2005 we became the Prolube distributer of the region and in 2016, Mitch’s Mechanical became the Scania dealer for the region.
We’re customer focused and business owner Mitchell Hopkins prefers to work on a personal one on one basis, providing quality control on all your service and repairs to make sure your vehicle is completed to a high standard.
